• Summary:  The project objective is to expand the number of health care providers who will partner with schools that have no SBHCs currently operating in their District. This envisaged project could potentially be awarded into an initial planning phase and a subsequent implementation phase.  The purpose of planning funds is to encourage additional health care providers new to providing health services in schools to become involved in delivering clinical services in schools where there is high need and no existing SBHC. Funding is available to support planning and development of new SBHCs in collaboration with local schools, public health departments, medical organizations and community-based organizations that provide health services.
