Health Care Facilities

Health Care Facilities including freestanding birthing centers, ambulatory surgical facilities, freestanding dialysis centers, freestanding inpatient rehabilitation facilities, freestanding radiation therapy centers, and freestanding or mobile diagnostic imaging centers are licensed by the Bureau of Regulatory Operations at the Ohio Department of Health.

Section 3702.30 of the Ohio Revised Code requires the licensure health care facilities or "HCF" in Ohio. HCF means any of the following:

 

Ambulatory surgical facilities, freestanding dialysis centers, freestanding inpatient rehabilitation facilities, and freestanding birthing centers are licensed and inspected by the Bureau of Regulatory Operations.  To obtain more information about a facility type, please click the links provided above.
