Quality Management

The Quality Management (QM) Program promotes continuous improvement in our programs by meeting the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Ryan White Part B program requirements for quality management. These requirements include: 1) measuring how well HIV health services meet HIV/AIDS clinical guidelines, and 2) developing strategies for improving access to quality HIV health services such as medical care and case management services. The QM program addresses:
- Improved access to and retention in care
- Quality of services and related outcomes
- Linkage of social support services to medical services
- Ability of the program to change with the epidemic
- Use of epidemiology, quality and outcomes data for planning and prioritizing
The QM program utilizes various activities and tools, including:
- Needs assessments
- Collaboration and coordination
- Client outcomes and satisfaction
- Data design
- Collection and analysis
- Surveys
- Reports
- Audits
