Quality Management

A compass pointing to "Excellence"

The Quality Management (QM) Program promotes continuous improvement in our programs by meeting the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Ryan White Part B program requirements for quality management. These requirements include: 1) measuring how well HIV health services meet HIV/AIDS clinical guidelines, and 2) developing strategies for improving access to quality HIV health services such as medical care and case management services. The QM program addresses:

  • Improved access to and retention in care
  • Quality of services and related outcomes
  • Linkage of social support services to medical services
  • Ability of the program to change with the epidemic
  • Use of epidemiology, quality and outcomes data for planning and prioritizing

The QM program utilizes various activities and tools, including:

  • Needs assessments
  • Collaboration and coordination
  • Client outcomes and satisfaction
  • Data design
  • Collection and analysis
  • Surveys
  • Reports
  • Audits
