Agricultural Labor Camps
The Ohio Department of Health provides the following services:
- Assist employers in the regulatory process of developing new Ag-Labor camps;
- Plan review and approval of new or extensively altered Ag-Labor camps;
- Licensure of Ag-Labor camps;
- Inspection of Ag-Labor camps to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
- Investigation of reported unlicensed Ag-Labor camps;
- Investigation of reported rule violations in licensed Ag-Labor camps;
- Establish criteria for voluntary standards for Ag-Labor camps in cooperation with the agricultural labor camp advisory committee (assembled whenever voluntary standards review is required).
