Medical Records Price Index 2023

The Medical Records Price Index is published to the Ohio Department of Health website annually and establishes the maximum amounts health care providers may charge for copying a patient's medical record. This amount is increased or decreased by the average percentage of increase or decrease in the consumer price index for all urban consumers (United States city average, all items), prepared by the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, for the immediately preceding calendar year over the calendar year immediately preceding that year, as reported by the Bureau.
