
Midwest Workshop
The annual Midwest Workshop in Environmental Health is sponsored by the Ohio Department of Health Bureau of Environmental Health and Radiation Protection (BEHRP). The workshop covers a variety of current topics in environmental health through presentations hosted by BEHRP staff. Topics include food safety, radiological health and safety, sewage, private water systems, and others.
The Midwest Workshop provides opportunities for Ohio environmental health specialists to receive continuing education credits toward their Ohio Environmental Health Specialist Registration. All Ohio registered environmental health specialists are encouraged to attend the Midwest Workshop.
Midwest Workshop Returns in 2023
The Ohio Department of Health’s Bureau of Environmental Health & Radiation Protection is pleased to announce that the Midwest Workshop in Environmental Health will return this spring on March 29 and 30, 2023. Midwest Workshop will look a little different than it has in previous years, but will cover a variety of topics. The conference will provide up to 12 continuing education hours needed for environmental health specialist biennial registration renewal.

Pre-Registration is required. Registration fee is $20 per day. Payment will not be accepted at the door.
