If the continuous disinfection and filtration system has any of the components listed below, the private water systems contractor must place an identification label on that device.  Print and cut out the label that corresponds with the component and secure it to the component for identification.  The components are as follows:

1. Retention Tank;
2. Pressurized Rapid Sand Filter for a Pond Continuous Disinfection and Filtration System;
3. Slow Sand Filter for a Pond Continuous Disinfection and Filtration System;
4. Coagulation Solution Tank for a Pond Continuous Disinfection and Filtration System.

The private water systems contractor and local health district contact information should be placed on the label or secured on the component with the label.
