What is a Private Water System Pond?

A private water system pond, is one that is constructed for the purpose of supplying potable water to one single-family dwelling and the entire watershed that fills the pond is under the complete control of the pond owner.

• Design for Pond Systems - Coagulation, Chemical Disinfection

Both methods are acceptable for use with pond systems.
