As Chief of the Office of Financial Affairs (OFA), Anthony Perry serves as ODH’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, federal grants management, purchasing and contracts management, cash management and revenue collection, accounting, auditing, and the Medicaid Administrative Claiming Program.
Anthony and OFA work with agency programs to improve public health through the efficient implementation of ODH’s over $625 million budget. He also works to assure compliance with state and federal laws, rules, and requirements; and helps set financial goals and objectives for the entire agency.
Anthony began his career at ODH in 2012 as ODH’s Budget Chief and has also served as Assistant CFO. Prior to working at ODH, Anthony served for over five years at the Ohio Office of Budget and Management (OBM) overseeing $8.7 billion in spending from 20+ state agencies as a Senior/Budget Analyst and coordinating the creation of the Fiscal Years 2012-2013 Executive Budget.
