Listening Sessions for Black Families

A black family listening to a listening session

Ohio’s Black and African American communities serve as the Task Force’s greatest resource for recommendation development. We are seeking Black families to share their expertise and knowledge on:

  • Experiencing a poor birth outcome or loss of an infant.
  • Participating in a program or receiving support that improved the health of their pregnancy or postpartum experience.

Applications to host a local listening session for Black families were accepted through April 5, 2021. Decisions are being communicated with applicant organizations. Local listening sessions will be held during the month of May. Participating families will be recruited through local host organizations.
