The Ohio Department of Health provides specific guidance to certain kinds of health care providers in the event of a harmful algal blooms (HABs)-related drinking water advisory. Click here to review the specific guidance

 

Health care providers and their patients should follow all advisories issued by the water system and/or by ODH or another public health agency. 

Potential harmful algal blooms should be reported to the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
