Dental Care During COVID-19 Pandemic

Listed below are ways you may be able to find dental care for yourself or your family.

Dental Care During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Governor DeWine announced that starting May 1, dental offices and clinics are allowed to provide all services, not just emergency care. However, each office and clinic will decide when what services will be provided. If you have a dental emergency or want to schedule a dental visit for routine care, please contact your own dentist first.

If you don't have a dentist and need emergency care, use this list to find a dentist in your county. This list only includes information about dentists who answered a survey from The Ohio Dental Association, and the information may change. Always call the dental office first to make sure the dentist can see you.

You can also check this list of safety net dental clinics that receive funding from the Ohio Department of Health. All of these clinics are currently open to provide emergency dental care and may also be able to provide routine dental services. This information may also change, so contact the clinic first to find out what services are available.

Lastly, check this brochure that lists all the safety net dental programs in Ohio. Many of these are open now, but contact the program first.
