All contractors who register for the 2020 registration year will be required to obtain six (6) continuing education credits, approved by the Ohio Department of Health (ODH), to renew their registration in 2021. At the time of registration renewal a private water systems contractor may provide proof of the following in place of obtaining six CE credits:
Holds a current Class A, I, II, III, or IV public water systems operator certification from the Ohio EPA;
Current status as a Water Quality Association (WQA) certified water specialist, certified installer, certified service technician, master water specialist, or master service technician; or
Current status as a National Ground Water Association (NGWA) certified well driller, certified pump installer, or master groundwater contractor.
