Recreation Programs Training for Local Health Districts

The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Recreation Programs will be providing a web-based monthly training program for local health district registered sanitarians. The monthly training program will consist of a pre-recorded one-hour training video on various recreation program topics. Each topic will be available four (4) times each month on this page and will be administered by a member of the recreation program staff.

A link to the training video will only be available for viewing and continuing education (CE) credit from the board of sanitarian registration during the days and times specified below. Due to time restraints for receiving credit for participation, we ask that you devote your attention for this one hour. You will not be eligible to obtain credit if starting the video more than 10 minutes after the start time or if you need to pause or stop the video. Please plan on attending one of the other available times if you are starting the video more than 10 minutes after the start time or if you need to pause or stop the video at any time.

You will be required to verify your attendance at these trainings by sending an email to the staff member administering the training at the conclusion of the training program and within the time period specified at the end of the video.  The presenter will then confirm your attendance via email.

Presenters and topics will vary each month and If you would like a specific topic to be presented, let us know and we will work to include that into the monthly training schedule.
