March 2025 McKesson VFC Vaccine Shipment Update

Beginning March 10, 2025, all shipments of refrigerated VFC vaccine arriving from McKesson will contain new TagAlert temperature monitors.  Instructions for how to utilize the monitors will be included with each shipment and contain information on how to read the monitors along with what actions to take if the monitors indicate a temperature excursion occurred.  In addition to these new monitors, McKesson will continue to use a qualified cooler and pack out that providers should return to McKesson for reuse.
