Wishes for Sick Children

The Wishes for Sick Children income tax contribution fund was created in HB64 of the 131st General Assembly. Its purpose is to allow anyone who files Ohio income taxes to designate all or part of their refund to help grant wishes of individuals under the age of eighteen who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition.

Any person may contribute directly to the fund in addition to or independently of the income tax refund contribution system.

The Ohio Department of Health shall distribute all funds contributed to any eligible nonprofit corporation that will use the funds to grant wishes of individuals under the age of eighteen who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition. If you belong to an agency who would like to apply for funds, please visit the application page.
