HUD Lead Hazard Control Grant Program

The ODH lead program has funding to remove lead-based paint hazards from homes built before 1978. This program is available in the counties listed below. The program assists families by testing and removing lead-based paint hazards and addressing health hazards like radon, fire hazards, and carbon monoxide.

How to Enroll

If you answer "yes" to the questions below, you may qualify for the lead paint testing and hazard removal.

  • Was the property you live in built before 1978?
  • Is the property located in one of the counties listed above?
  • Is your child under 6 years of age?
