Park Access and Inclusion

Parks can play a major role in public health. Most notably, parks have been shown to increase our physical health and well-being as they provide a safe opportunity to engage in outdoor physical activity. In addition, access to parks has been shown to improve mental health by increasing opportunities for social interactions, as they act as a gathering space for communities. Access and inclusion is a vital component in ensuring that parks are beneficial to all users.
