About Us
The Ohio Rare Disease Advisory Council (ORDAC) is established by section 103.60 of the Ohio Revised Code. The ORDAC consists of 31 members appointed by the Governor, the Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives, and the President of the Ohio Senate. The statutory purpose of this group is “to advise the general assembly regarding research, diagnosis, and treatment efforts related to rare diseases across the state.
