Rape Prevention Education Evaluation Project

Dr. Sandra Ortega is working with ODH Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Prevention Program (SADVPP) to evaluate the ODH Violence Against Women Act funded rape prevention education programs.  Dr. Ortega has been working with the Ohio Domestic Violence Network, where she has been an evaluation consultant for their DELTA intimate partner violence prevention programs.  She has benefited from extensive training from CDC and brings both her professional expertise in evaluation and her knowledge of CDC priorities and expectations to her work with SADVPP.

Prevention Empowerment Evaluation Tool Kit

Ohio Domestic Violence Network is home to the Prevention Empowerment Evaluation Took Kit.  The intended audience for this toolkit is local primary prevention providers, particularly those who are beginners or who have intermediate level skills in program evaluation. This toolkit could also be used by evaluation consultants as a source of training and technical assistance materials.

National Resources:

The National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC) Evaluation Toolkit

An online resource for sexual and domestic violence prevention practitioners and organizations to elevate their evaluation skills and capacity. This resource is a living toolkit, filled with opportunities for those who use it to submit their own case studies, evaluation examples, and other helpful tools. The NSVRC's Evaluation Toolkit may seem cumbersome at first, but its "choose your own adventure" style allows practitioners and organizations to pave their own path through the toolkit depending on what's most useful for them. From beginners to evaluation experts, this toolkit has resources for everyone at every step of their evaluation journey.
