Spreading The Word Can Help Save Lives.

If we’ve learned one thing from Ohio’s opioid crisis, it’s that ignoring it won’t make it go away. Every member of the community needs to understand the issue and share information about naloxone (such as Narcan). OH Against OD’s resources can help do just that.

Find Naloxone (such as Narcan) Near You.

We’ve joined forces with Project DAWN (Deaths Avoided with Naloxone), as well as healthcare facilities and community-based programs, whose sites are open to the public and provide naloxone kits at no cost. Use our interactive map or visit NaloxoneOhio to get free naloxone.

Call 911

Even if you already gave someone naloxone (such as Narcan), it can wear off and the person can start overdosing again. So, it’s important to call 911. The Good Samaritan Law grants immunity for a minor drug possession or drug paraphernalia offense for the person who overdosed AND the person who called 911 to seek help.
